Our Guru Lineage

Since his incarnation, Jesus has continued to be a savior; he continues to bless and guide those who attune themselves to his Cosmic Consciousness. Like all truly realized masters, he communes with those who are also helping humanity to evolve.

Babaji and Jesus together are helping this world to work out its spiritual evolution and are at the head of this spiritual lineage. Babaji is a wonderful personality who is described in the Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda.

We celebrate the life of the fully liberated Master, Lahiri Mahasaya. No words or stories can convey the greatness of any man, much less a Yogavatar such as Lahiri Mahasaya.

The Mahavatar Babaji initiated Lahiri Mahasaya; Lahiri Mahasaya then initiated Swami Sri Yukteswar. Sri Yukteswar was a householder, married with one daughter. Later on, when his wife had left the body and his daughter was married, living with her husband’s family, Sri Yukteswar was practicing and teaching from his family home.

Master started many great works here in America. He spawned a large organization, and subsequently, other teachers and organizations came about as well.

Our Beloved Mother Hamilton, The Reverend Mother Yogacharya M. Hamilton, was a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, whom she reverently called Master. Mother met Master in the year 1925.

Reverend David first met his beloved Guru, Mother Hamilton, in 1974 and was initiated into Kriya Yoga. Mother ordained Davidji as a Minister in 1984 and later gave him the title Yogacharya.
